Position: Garden Store Outside Labor – Full Time
Reports to: Outside Manager
Position duties include:
- Seeking Full-Time Year-Round Laborer
- Opening and closing tasks out front of the store
- Outdoor maintenance tasks keeping parking lot clean and walkways clear
- Moving plants around with stocking and display tasks
- Ability to lift and load 50-75 lbs.
- Can handle all types of physical work
- Lifting and loading plants and bagged goods for customers
- Greeting customers and answering basic questions. Assisting with general product selection.
- Watering plants
- Pruning and deadheading plants. Pulling weeds. Landscape maintenance tasks with plants and bed care.
- Tagging and signage tasks with plants
- Working in varied temperatures and weather conditions all the time with the ability to quickly adapt to the changes.
- Standing, stooping, kneeling, bending continuously and being on your feet for 8 hours a day
- Scheduling and completing deliveries as needed
- Team player and ability to work with others

Background in landscape, maintenance, horticulture, construction, farm related tasks applicable.
Equipment experiences beneficial with basic hand tools, lawn equipment, pallet jacks, fork lifts, skid loaders.
Good driving record.
Reliable transportation is necessary.
Reliable attendance. Open availability with minimal conflicts.
Holiday work to include: Spring Break, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day with business hours and plant watering needs.
Saturday availability is required.
Sunday watering shifts as necessary with weather and staffing. Not optional.
